> TREATMENT SERVICES: THERAPEUTIC
Adolescent Substance Abuse Program
Alcohol and other drug use plays an increasingly significant role in the lives and problems of youth served at Woodland Hills.
Through a partnership with the Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment www.cadt.org,
youth have access to substance abuse education classes, multi-dimensional Rule 25 chemical dependency assessments and outpatient substance dependence treatment.
Students in need of outpatient chemical dependency treatment receive peer-based assistance as they process their problems with drugs and alcohol.
This approach has proven effective with the adolescent population.
Students support the partnership and appreciate its results.
