Woodland Hills - Residential Treatment Center

> Residential Treatment Center

Our Residential Treatment Center continues to be a resource for youth who experience behavioral and/or mental health issues in the home, community or school settings. For nearly 100 years, our peer empowerment philosophy has helped youth build upon their assets and reduce risk factors so that they may realize their success. We believe that all youth have inherent strengths and potential which need to be identified and developed in order to overcome their negative value systems, thought processes and behaviors. To this end, we utilize the power of the peer group and empower our students to invest in the process of change with each other. Today, we continue our mission by addressing behaviors as well as mental health issues. This open-ended program is enhanced by research-based curriculums which focus on social skill development, cognitive skills and moral development.
