> Residential Treatment Mental Health
(Print page)
In order to effectively meet the needs of youth today, Woodland Hills obtained its SED Certification through the Minnesota Department of Human Services and added mental health services to our care continuum. The residential mental health program provides an intensive therapeutic intervention to adolescents who are struggling to maintain their safety in the community. We operate one female and one male unit with the capacity of twelve clients in each unit. Services are delivered under the supervision of an on-site mental health professional and treatment is individualized. We offer a comprehensive assessment of individual needs that goes beyond the “what is going on” to determine “the why”. Behavior stabilization, skill development, individual and group psychotherapy and family therapy are focal points to help reduce client’s mental health symptoms and ultimately improve their quality of life.
