> Chisholm House
For over 25 years, the Chisholm House program has been a cost-effective resource to court- and social service-placed youth in need of a consequence or short-term residential care. While the services have evolved over time to better meet the needs of youth, the program continues to stress accountability and behavior management in order to reduce the likelihood for further out-of-home placement. Using a cognitive-behavioral focus, this gender-responsive program challenges youth and teaches responsibility. We realize that needs vary upon individual and that is why we offer flexible lengths of stay ranging from a quick consequence for early offenders to short-term residential care for youth with more individualized treatment needs. For clients in the program beyond 30 days, an individualized treatment plan is developed to target criminogenic factors and teach appropriate adaptive coping mechanisms.
