> Chisholm House
The Chisholm House program has been a quality out-of-home placement
option for youth for more than 20 years. What began as a 30-day
consequence program in 1982 has evolved in recent years to become an
effective short-term residential option with many benefits. Using a
cognitive-behavioral focus, young people gain insight and learn
to accept responsibility for their behaviors.
Length of stay varies by individual need. Referring sources have the
option of choosing the traditional 30-day consequence program for
earlier offenders or recommending a 60-, 90- or 120- day placement for
youth with more individualized treatment needs.
